Vanessa Marie (nee Blust) Tiemeier, beloved wife of William Tiemeier, caring daughter of Andrew and Sharon (Grosser) Blust, and loving sister to Jessica (Blust) Yaeger and Christina Blust, died from metastatic breast cancer on Sunday, February 23, 2014, surrounded by love, at her home in Delhi Township at the age of 32.
Vanessa was born in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky on October 15, 1981. She graduated from Newport Central Catholic High School in 2000 and from the College of Mount St. Joseph in 2004. Vanessa and her husband Billy were married on June 24, 2006. A talented artist, she worked as a graphic designer.
She was a selfless giver who lent her skills and passion to what she believed in. Vanessa tirelessly encouraged everyone to be their best selves. Diagnosed with cancer at age 25, she advocated for other young patients and spread awareness of late-stage breast cancer. Always thinking of others, she donated her body to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine for scientific advancement benefitting future generations.
Vanessa is survived by her husband, parents and sisters as well as her grandmothers Teresa (Fradianno) Grosser and Agnes Becker; brother-in-law Jason Yaeger; dear nephews Maxwell, Myles and Leo Yaeger; parents-in-law Richard and Susan (Cassedy) Tiemeier; brothers-in-law Thomas, John and Joseph Tiemeier; many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends; and her loyal dog Reuben. Vanessa was preceded in death by her grandfathers Bernard Blust and Paul Grosser and uncle Donald Grosser.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1, from 2-6 p.m. with words and remembrance at 3 p.m. at the Delhi Senior Center, 647 Neeb Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45233.

Vanessa’s wish was for all to “live sincerely.”
