Current score: me=2, chemo=0; I win again!! And this time I didn’t even get sick, so things went very well for round 2. I got my neulasta shot in my belly this time, and it didn’t hurt as much as when I got it in my arm, so that was a good thing too. :) I seem to have gotten the after-chemo medicine routine down too, so that helped things go more smoothly I think too. All in all, not too bad.
My hair is definitely thinning now, so it won’t be too long before I will cut it short. Me, mom and Jess went wig shopping on Saturday. We had good luck at a place downtown and ended up getting 4 wigs! All of them are completely different but mom and jess said they all are “so cute” so I’m taking their word for it! :) I didn’t end up getting any blonde ones though (sorry Billy), so they are mainly in the brown family. But I really do like them too, so now between all the wigs, scarves, headwraps, and hats I should be set! I have something for whatever mood I’m in! So beware if you notice a little bi-polar action coming from my direction. I just might be changing it up quite often.
Other than that, not much to report…
As always, thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers! It was great to see many of you for Easter and recently. I couldn’t do this without your love and support. THANKS!!
